We have a helpful tip to help you ensure your paying your bills online correctly.

Third party websites can appear in search results that look similar to your insurance carrier’s site. These sites can still take payments, but may charge extra unnecessary fees and can be unreliable in getting your bills paid on time, if at all.

Here’s what to look out for. Say you are a Grinnell Mutual policyholder and you Google “Grinnell Mutual Pay Bill”. The top searches may appear like this:

Highlighted in yellow is what you should look out for. These sites are not Grinnell Mutual affiliated, but a third party bill site and have most likely paid to have their results show up first. To ensure that you are getting the correct results and paying your bill to the right site, look for the link that is going directly to your company’s website.
